Directed for Vietnamese-American hip hop artist Mai Lee, Marquis is a stylized music video built around a surreal, cinematic narrative. The story follows a fortune teller who lures men into her shop, only to transform them into the little boys. I leaned into bold lighting, vibrant color palettes, and playful visual effects to balance the track’s swagger with a sense of wit and empowerment. The result is a high-energy visual that mixes performance, storytelling, and a touch of the unexpected.
