Filmed at Shock City Studios, this black-and-white short captures hip hop artist Mai Lee in a collaborative recording session with friends, working on the track “Von.” I directed, shot, and edited the piece to keep it raw and unobtrusive—focusing on candid moments of creativity rather than staging or performance. The stripped-back visuals and monochrome palette put the emphasis on the process itself, offering a genuine look at the energy and connection that happens when music is made together.
